How Do I Remove a Sticker from a Plastic Toy?
I bought this toy Barbie wedding set recently (it had child sized stuff on it, I use them for photo purposes), and I want to remove a sticker from the cake topper Sticker Wedding on the plastic cake (on the sole grounds of I can't *stand* how Ken looks in the picture. This set is from the early to mid 1990's, and I never did like Ken all that much, but that's beside the point). My sister suggested I use Goo Gone on it, but I thought that was only for removing the sticker residue, and not the sticker itself, and I want to remove the sticker without breaking anything on the toy. Any suggestions?

“Try the Peking Opera Photo Studiohttp://www.fmnz.com/They do those “glamour” shots and also you can dress up in an elaborate Peking Opera costume with make-up and hair (they’ll put it on for you) and get great pics that are very affordable; they’ll also make gifts from the pics. I had this done and it was one of my best memories of my Beijing trip.”answer given by Jebbiethere are no Glamour Shot studios in China

What a fun way to celebrate your new lives together! I gave this some thought, and you can do this. The fiesta theme would have bold, bright colors while the traditional embellishments are going to be more neutral with gold and silver highlights. The two can blend on a page. The way I’m envisioning this is using the traditional elements as highlights/accents on the pages. The gold/silver elements will work perfectly for this and will fit just about anywhere, even with chili peppers. The traditional stickers can be matted on a neutral piece of cardstock that also blends with the fiesta background. These would be best used on the ceremony pages. For example, the background might be a bright color, with a few of the photos matted with coordinating paper. You might even have strips of chili peppers as a border on the page. Take a traditional sticker or two and mount them on a neutral piece of cardstock that coordinates with the main colors–this will be a nice transition that blends the traditional with the fiesta. You can also do the opposite on a few pages, with the traditional being the primary color theme, and then adding a fiesta themed element matted on coordinating traditional colored paper. Here are a few tricks to try:–Make a tag in either theme colors and attach an accordion folded strip to include a mini photo album on the page. Make a ribbon or hemp string closure or use a velcro dot. These are like little surprises on the page. So it can be viewed without removing the page from its protector, make a window in the protector (cut a hole) where the mini album will be.–For every page or layout, keep your focal theme intact by blending only a few elements of the traditional or fiesta into it.–Mat a few elements and cut around them leaving a bit of a border. Mount these on the page with a PopDot.–Mat other elements as tags and use ribbon or hemp on them as an accent. Mount some with PopDots.–Use glitter glue with a light touch to add some movement and highlights (one of my favorite techniques).–Hemp string as an accent will work nicely with both themes. You can also try using hemp and ribbon together in the same tie. This sounds like so much fun! I hope you share a few of your pages when they are done; I’d love to see them.Lynne N.Scrapbook Advisor/IC #1360

Okay the other answer doesn’t make sense. Why not put something inside the frame? If you are putting a picture of you and your fiancee inside, all they will need to do is remove the back and voila! There can be a cute piece of paper, “Winner!”This way it’s just a game of luck :)

Giving some kind of a trinket that will collect dust over the years is most definitely wasteful. Why not give your guests something edible like chocolate? Yes, chocolate is given at most weddings but these favors below have a certain elegance and sophistication that most of your guests won’t be able to leave behind.Godiva makes these beautiful chocolates shaped into wedding cakes (designed by the cake diva herself Sylvia Weinstock)http://www.godiva.com/catalog/product.aspx?id=1303&SE_Section=Shop&SE_Category=43Chocolate covered strawberries made to look like a bride and groom.http://www.berries.com/jump.jsp?itemID=303&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C2%2C5%2C37&iProductID=303Or these cute brownie favors featured in Instyle magazine and Modern Bride!http://www.sugardaddys.com/ss-sigsilk-favors.cfmLike you suggested… Truffles are also fantastic… http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/category/2_pc_party_favors

Are you printing the invitations or the labels? If you’re printing the labels, you can buy those pre-cut labels in stationery shops. The sheets are usually in letter or A4 size, and you have a choice of the size of the label and thus the number of labels that fit in a sheet. Some label manufacturers have a template (like a sample page with the lines matching the label sheet) that you can download from their website (look up the product code). Otherwise you can just type out your addresses in any word document and just try to match the spacing. Print a test page on plain paper first. The other option is to get a label sheet that is A4 or letter size, meaning there are no smaller stickers cut into it. Then you just print normally and then cut it up with a pair of scissors. So in other words, no need for special software at all, just any normal word program will do.

look on ebay. you can buy like 100 customized water bottle labels for $20 or maybe even less. They ship you the labels and you stick them on the bottles. Look under the wedding category for “water bottle labels”

Look for local dj association’s online. Also go to pwg.com ( perfect Wedding Guide) for your state and see what ones they have listed. Also, you can go to bridal expos and see what they have to offer. you can make cd’s as you stated and max them out as far as minutes are concerned where they won’t ahve to be changed readily. Place the first dance songs, mother father songs, etc. on one cd and place all the other songs on cd in the order that you want them played.
