In this review of Letter Scrapbook, I am going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what is a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that Letter Scrapbook is my favorite choice. Sure, there are other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). I do have to say this though. some other products may be better, but based on quality and price, Letter Scrapbook is the clear winner.

Some scrapbook stores have die cut sets they’ll let you use for a small fee.Don’t cut out each letter, just make a pretty banner. Cut the whole square/rectangle out of the card stock and use it as an embellishment. You can use “edger” type scissors to make pretty edges, use an ink pad on the edges to make a “fade”, you can put another color card stock behind it, use markers to highlight the letters, you can do all sorts of things.Print it out on vellum. It’s a type of transparent paper that goes with anything.There are sticker letters for small items.There are stencils.

What about doing a “then/now” theme? Or do one about their careers/hobbies. Include pictures of them in uniforms or in front of places they worked. Look up how much things cost before they got married and the prices of the same items now: a loaf of bread, a new car, a house, a gallon of milk… Get pictures of their homes before and pics now to see any changes.Try to find billboard ads/commercials and jingles. You might be surprised to hear them singing some of them.

Tell what you did if you went somewhere what you did or was it when you just alone and shared something special.Your intro and conclusion you will tell people how important she is to you. PLEASE…Do not do what froglady says!! For scrapbooking, there are a ton of adhesives on the market. Just go to a craft store and look in that section.Try painters tape in your daughters room. It won’t cause any damage at all, and should be sticky enough to hold foam letters. You can find painters tape in the hardware section with paint supplies.Good luck
She might put in a piece of cloth from her dress the night she met Romeo. She might put in (unless it’s molded) the decorated demi mask that either (or both of them) wore that night. She might have the pressed flowers from the bouquet she picked for her secret wedding. Maybe the ribbons from her nightgown the one night they spent as man and wife. If you want to get gory, put in the “last” page. A kiss mark of lipstick, a lock of his hair, and blood splatter.
if you mean what you say.just go with what you’ve already thought of.that’s not helpful but if you mean what your saying then you can come up with something.
As a new user of Craft Robo I may have got this wrong – but thought I would offer it anyway! You could try cutting your design IN REVERSE – then before you remove it from the cutting sheet you can affix whatever adhesive medium you intend to use in the scrapbook to the back of the design and press straight onto the page. Probably require careful positioning technique – but you could practice a bit first. Hope it works. Regards yiayia
I think I would first open all of them and lay them flat. I would then treat each one with an archival spray to neutralize the paper.You can do one of two things. If you don’t want to adhere the original letters to anything, you can photo copy the ones that you want to share and scrap those in the book. You can place the other letters in protective sleeves to keep them in good shape (also by keeping them open you protect them from tearing at the creases).You can create new envelopes at the die cut machine at the scrapbook store and use those on the pages to insert some letters in to and poking out of. If the letters are double sided, create a window in the background page and then use it as a two page spread (it will just be front and back then instead of a left and right page spread).I think this will make a very, very sweet book. My personal advice would be to save and store the originals in a 3 ring book in protective, archival sleeves and make copies of the ones you want to scrap.Best of luck and have fun reading and enjoying those memories!
I had this same problem. I lost a box of books.Obvious if mail is lost, it has to go somewhere, unless it is going home with you. – This is what I said to USPS when I was on the phone. They said that it goes to I believe Minnesota. They told me that I could fill a “lost” form out at the post office, but the local office didn’t know about a lost form. The lost forms are lost, but they exist. They too are probably in Minnesota. Right now I am trying to get “lost” forms to the local post office so I can fill one out. By the way, I lost the box in mid-August.Maybe the person carrying the “lost” forms lost the forms, then got lost on his way.
I agree with picking your 5 or 6 favorite pictures from each part of the trip and storing the rest chronologically in an archival safe photo storage box. There are kits from Creative Memories called Power Pallettes in different color schemes. They include paper, photo mats, journal boxes, title stickers and embellishments. All pieces coordinate the other pieces without being too “matchy”. You save money by buying more parts of the set together rather than seperately. And the best money saver is that the only tools you really need with these is a 12″ cutter (which you could truly use very little or not at all), adhesive, and an acid free journaling marker/pen.

1.Scan everything and store it digitally on CD2. Get archival sheets that keep each picture separate. 3. Do the same with the negatives4. Sort and throw out the stuff that’s useless.5. Never store your items at ground level. They are susceptible to damage if the room is flooded. NOTE: CD’s are a time-limited solution. Do you REALLY want everyone that could ever pick up your scrapbook to read those letters? I suggest a pocket page. Or, you could scan them and shrink to fit on the back of picture mats and put on the page as hidden journaling. Basically you lift the picture and mat to review the letter behind. That way you could put one on the back of the photo and one on the page (your letter to him and his response to you). That way the letters are in the book but for certain eyes only. There are many sites that could guide you on this. Just do a search for scrapbook hidden journaling and you should get a lot of hits.

You predict where you will be in 5 years, 10 years and so on.List of your favorite things: food, teachers, subjects, clothes, cars, sports, etc.List of your least favorite things..Hope this gives you something to go on!
