HI there… consider using purchasing a pet-friendly deterrent called Bitter Apple® by Grannicks: http://grannicks.com/ found at most pet stores. Cats do not like the taste of the bitter apple flavour and it should help discourage the kitten from nursing and is safe as well.

Here’s the deal, Andrea. It bugs the crap out of me. The people who insist on putting their entire family on the back of their car in the form of stick figures grew up in an age where they were told over and over by a big purple dinosaur named Barney that they are special. This translates as an adult into making sure they feel important and that everyone must look at them, even though they are not. This self-importance manifests itself in the form of the stick figures you mentioned, in the form of blogs where people write endlessly about every single thing in their life, in the form of bumper stickers that advertise their political beliefs, their kid’s school achievements, and anything else about their personal life that can fit on a sticker, it manifests itself on personalized license plates, it shows up on their t-shirts, and every one of these things is done so people can reinforce their grossly-overblown feelings of self-importance. This is the problem when as a nation, we say to our children that there are no losers, only winners, and that everyone gets a ribbon for participation whether they win or not. Children need to be taught that not everyone wins, and that accepting loss or failure with maturity is just as important, if not more important, than winning. In a typical major-league sports event, exactly half the participants lose. Every single time. There are no prizes for second place in an NFL game. Half win, half lose. It is important for parents to teach their kids that lesson or we will end up with a nation of whiners who cannot accept failure. And these are the people who will not rest until they finally feel important. Stick figures on the back window is one example of thousands of symptoms that point to the fact that we are failing our children. One more thing. It’s always the folks from south of the border that put those stupid stick figures on their cars here in southern California.

Brush her regularly with a Furminator. It’s be best brush for removing any excess, loose fur and will remove the stickers and prevent mats. Get the small one, the others are too large and heavy for cats.I believe cats should have the freedom to go outside when they with. They get bored to tears if kept inside. What you need to do is observe where she goes. If the stickers are coming from plants that are on your property, you need to remove them from the premises.

He needs a vet. The foxtail will just lodge deeper. Do you have decent credit? Many vets take Care Credit which you can apply for instantly at the pet clinic. Go to http://www.carecredit.comDo you have a credit card you could use? Maybe a friend will lend you the money. Sometimes the animal shelters have a fund that helps people pay at least some of a vet bill (like the office call but you would be expected to come up with the rest of what might need to be done.) Maybe you could give a down payment and then some hold checks. Do you have a vet now? A clinic you’ve dealt with is more likely to work with you. I don’t know any vets in the South Bay. I’m in the East Bay. You really should get him to the vet. It will cost more the longer you wait.
