Creative Memories Useful Hint

If you are looking for Creative Memories then you are in the right place. Check out this review:
In this review of Creative Memories, I’m going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what’s a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that Creative Memories is my favorite choice. Sure, there’s other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). I do have to say this though. some other products may be better, but based on quality and price, Creative Memories is the clear winner.
Who has worked with creative memories and what was your experience?
I love scrapbooking Creative Memories and am thinking of selling, but I would like to know what others have experienced. Please feel free to give me the good and the bad. Thanks for your help.

Hello, my name is Melanie and I am a creative memories consultant. If you could email me and give me a more descriptive idea of what it looks like I could probably tell you what the name of it is, or find out from my sister in law who is also a creative memories consultant and has been for 10 years. My email address is melaniehessecm@sbcglobal.net
Have you checked on line for scrap-booking supplies – there are about a billion -contact these people through their websites – they may be interested in wholesaling to you for home/sales.parties etc.No harm in asking – with on line sales – they are reaching the people at home already. However there may be small companies willing to wholesale. Have you thought of buying clearance items, or ebay, or craig’s list of scapbooking supplies to re sell?Good luck, Hope you are very very successful
Consultants make 30% of retail on “traditional” and digital scrapbooking supplies and 25% on custom framingThe cost to start up varies by the package you choose but around $150.00 to startHosting works like any other home business (tupperware, partylite etc etc) if you host a show you invite your friends and you earn free stuff based on how much they buy and your consultant gets her commission and the new customers

I would use the custom cutting system and pick the circle shapes. I would make varying sizes and using different colors of paper for different colors of apples. Once you have all the circles cut out, take scissors and trim the top to resemble an apple and if that looks okay, then you are done. If needed, you can trim the bottom as well. This is really all I could think of! Hope it helps!

do you mean consultant? if so then no it is not hard to get started. find a consultant and tell them that you would like to get started. you’ll have to pay for your kit and have people in mind that would be willing to host a party. if you do not know a consultant go to their web site it’ll refer you to one. good luck very fun to do.
I Do!!!!! And they are FANTASTIC! I am hosting a New Product Reveal tomorrow evening in Central NJ. If you can make it email me and I will show you all the great things and More!
With Creative Memories, you’re required to use their printing service.Instead, you can create beautiful scrapbook pages at CropMom (http://www.cropmom.com), then you can have your layouts printed anywhere you’d like. It’s less expensive, and the graphics at CropMom are the same designer digital scrapbook graphics that professional digital scrapbookers use.CropMom is free to use. Just register and upload your photos to the site. Click “get started” to begin making your layout.Drag and drop your photo or photos onto the canvas. You have your choice of beautiful scrapbook graphics to drag and drop onto the canvas. You can rotate and resize photos and graphics, and you can even add your own text. You can download the low resolution JPEG file of your layout for free, and then insert it into your e-mail. Or, also free, you can click SHARE to send your layout to a friend’s e-mail address. For a small fee, you can purchase the high-resolution JPEG file, which allows for high-quality prints, then have your layouts printed by a photofinisher, such as Snapfish or Shutterfly. You can have the layouts printed individually, and then insert them into an album. Or you can have them printed as a photo book.
If you don’t have a consultant, I recommend that you look for one on their website, by clicking “find a consultant” on their front page. Any Creative Memories Consultant can give you the Guest Registration Form, which is due on July 10th, so you still have ample time to get your form in. Event fee: $95.00.
I know that around a year ago it was £95 which included the kit (2 trimmers, cutting mat, pens, scrapbook and pages, corner punch and a few other bits and pieces and all paperwork). I made enquires and had a home visit. They pestered me after that which put me off. They like you to attend lots of meetings which were far away for me and they ‘touch base’ a lot by phone! I didn’t go ahead with it as its not the sort of scrapbooking I do. Its more of a simple journal.Hope this helps.
I suggest you make digital scrapbook pages online at CropMom at http://www.cropmom.com. It is an online scrapbooking site developed by a long-time digital scrapbook kit designer, so CropMom has designer scrapbook graphics. It costs nothing to use CropMom. Just register and upload your photos. It has drag and drop software so you can drag your photos onto the canvas size of your choice. You can choose from thousands of digital scrapbook graphics. You can add your own text. If you like what you’ve created and want to print it, you can purchase the print-quality, high-resolution JPEG files of your layouts for a small fee. Then, you can print out your layouts at home or have them printed by a photo service. I like to get about 20 layouts and have them printed and bound in a photo book by Shutterfly at http://www.shutterfly.com or Snapfish at http://www.snapfish.com.Why spend money on scrapbooking software if you’re not sure if it’s worth the money? With CropMom, you purchase your layouts ONLY if you like them and want to print them.
I don’t think it would be worth it. To become a consultant, you have to pay them for your first kit. To make it worthwhile, you would have to buy A LOT of stuff from them. I don’t know what kind of a discount you would get, but here’s the website. It might have some information on that or you could email and ask.http://www.creativememories.com/MainMenu/Join-Our-TeamPersonally, I like the selection a store gives better and I think things are less expensive. Course, that’s just me.
I buy thru my local consultant- that way there are no postage fees. However, try their contact page on the website, and email them about details…don’t feorget to add your postcode/ zip code. I contacted them thru their website, then they had their consultant call me back…as it turns out, she lives less than 3 km from me and we’re in a rural area. She doesn’t add money onto the price (as they shouldn’t), orders products in for me (it takes 3 days max)…goood luck! It’s a great hobb y!!
Showcase is held August 1-4 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, however, I believe registration is closed.
No, you cannot sell on ebay if you are a Creative Memories Consultant. It is stated in the consultant guide that you can’t sell on the auction sites. CM is very careful to make sure customers get personalized service from their consultants. Plus it is part of belonging to the Direct Sellers Association.I do find it interesting that people are willing to pay more than retail for items on eBay…
