This Tattoos Party was exactly like they said it was. You won’t regret it. Tattoos Party is awesome.
Am I supposed to cover up my tattoos for a company party?
My tattoos are on my back and on my shoulder and will show if I Tattoos Party wear a dress to the party. My boss will be there, everyone I work with will be there and i think it is just a regular formal office party. Obviously I cover my tattoos for work... but am I supposed to cover them up for parties too? Help?

Haha, funny you should mention this. A group of people I know recently had a piercing and tattoo party. One of them is a do-it-yourself piercer, and another was an apprentice tattooist at the place I go, before he got fired for being a general prick. So yeah, ahead they went, and you should have seen some of the sh!t that came out of that party. The pics were on facebook, it was hilarious. The tattoos were all wonky and full of blow outs, the piercings were all red, swollen and oozing pus – perfect comeuppance for a perfect bunch of idiots! So yeah anyway that’s your answer – find some desperate wannabe nevergonnabe tattooist with his own kit, and enjoy your shitty tattoos and your hepatitis outbreak! It’s such a great idea, I might do it for my next birthday…!
Sharpie definitely is the way to go. It comes in so many colors and it will last the entire night for sure.
I chose these girls as my bridesmaids for a reason, they are my nearest and dearest friends and I love them. ALL of them for their faults and their best features. Their tattoos are part of who they are, true friends don’t ask you to cover up who you truly are even if it’s for one day. These girls still are individual people not just props at a show. If they have tattoos and i pick a dress that lets them show i would never ever ask them to cover it up. It’s part of who they are (if they have a swastika tattoo or something equally as awful they most likely are not my friend nevermind nearest and dearest)
haha, im not sure about kool-aid. i gotta look that up. but maybe u shud just try paint. if u have spray painters and stuff, thats ideal. then u can make paper stencils and have it look professional. hope i helped!
Since you don’t know how your boss feels about tattoos, I’d recommend her covering up. Company Christmas parties may be a chance to let loose a little, but they’re still corporate functions and “work rules” still apply to some extent. Maybe over time she’ll get a feel for your boss’ opinion on the subject and can show them off next year. I just think she’s too new to risk blowing it.
I like the idea of doing act like your favorite transformer, then recording it and playing it back. I am trying to think of the idea of transforming. There is the clothes changing game where kids race to put on adult clothes. http://partygameideas.com/kids-games/dress_for_work_2.phpNot sure if you have a yard but maybe you can set up targets (it could be a soda can with a transformer pic stuck to it), divide the group into teams and have a nerf dart gun and let them battle each other. Kind of based on this Pirate Game http://partygameideas.com/kids-games/pirate_war_2.phpThey have a big list of games here, maybe one will inspire you.http://partygameideas.com/kids-games/games-list.phpSarah
ok, tattoo parties, can be awesome, and they can be bad… just depends. Make sure they are using clean stuff, make sure they disinfect the area they are going to be tattooing, make sure that they do the tattoo’s in a clean room. I go to piercing parties at times, sometimes i let the guy give me a piercing, other times… not so much, use your judgment…. if it feels shady, it is shady… make sure the artist is wearing gloves, has a portfolio of his/her work, clean needles, sterile environment…. you know how it goes… good luck
I always buy a small stuffed animal, Gerber puffs, or rattle to give to the infants at my kids party. I try and find something that goes with the theme. I personally feel that they should get something to.
I am an artist and shop owner, and tattoo parties are illegal. You have to have a practitioner’s permit to do tattoos anywhere. That’s different from an artist’s license. The permit I’m speaking of is posted prominently in the shop, and shows that the state has inspected the facility and it is clean and meets health department standards. There are no precautions you can take to prevent infection from spreading. The reason being, you have no sterilization equipment, and you have no way of disposing of the material properly. Another reason you can’t guarantee safety is the artist who will do it. Any artist willing to risk their license, if they’re even licensed, to do a tattoo party is scum. They don’t follow licensing laws, why would they follow cleanliness laws?If you get caught, you face fines and/or jail time for allowing someone to tattoo out of your home. The artist will lose their license and not be able to practice legally. It’s not a good idea in any way, shape, or form. I hate to play devil’s advocate, but, enjoy your crappy tattoo and your infection.
A place like Claires or ‘The Icing’…they’re like girly teenage stores. Also you might try a novelty store…we have a place called Spencers…but you might also try hot topic…HastingsYou need to check out pre-teen – teen stores. Like arcades. You might just have to get a few out of those machines you see all over…
I have been to the meeting of the marked convention almost every year. Very little tatooing went on there.
