   I think Senator Torlakson is a complete Jackash. Does the idiot propose to raise the tax on booze, too? No? Think maybe the moron likes to have a drink or two?They raised the tax in NY by $1.25 per pack so now I make sure I go to the Indian reservation to get my smokes. And, as long as I’m there I get gas and NY gets NO tax from me. Good thinking guys!Taxing things like smokes only hurts the people that can least afford it. If this guy even has a chance to get re-elected you guys are idiots!

   There is Russian brand – Belomorkanal. I’ve ordered it once online. It costs just $12 per a CARTON, but it is really too strong. What I advice you is just to order cigarettes online. You can save about $45 per a carton! Even Marlboro costs only $18,50 there. Have a look… I personally buy cigarettes there not only for me (cause I am a social smoker) but for all my friends and family members (who smokes of course). It helps us to improve month budget tremendously!

   On the back of each pack, the ratios are printed telling how often (on average) you will get a certain rarity of a card within a pack. The ratios are calculated based on the initial production of each booster pack. In addition, even if the odds of getting a certain rarity are good, some cards are short-printed, meaning they will only appear in a very small range of booster packs or boxes. Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier is a good example of a short-print. You can also look up Scaling to improve your odds of getting rarer cards.    Something does seem amiss. That’s about 1/4 the calories of a pack of Ramen. The ingredients list suggests that the noodles are made of regular flour. Unless they expect you to eat 1/4 a packet as a serving, I think the number is inaccurate. I have encountered other bizarre nutritional information on some imported items, and wonder if the labeling is subjected to the same guidelines as in the US.

    Nope, you can by a pack for any where from three to five dollars. Careful with that one though. It’s an expensive and costly habit, and I’m not just talking about money either.

    In the long-run, the healthcare costs should be lower if most people give up. However, it’s not a total ban – just in enclosed public spaces – so if you still want to pollute your body, you can still walk down the street and smoke, or inside your own home. Just not in someone’s place of work.

    For packs with tax stamp – the manufacturer buys the stamp from the government. That’s how the government gets the money.For no tax stamp – the number of packs produced is monitored and the manufacturer pays the governement accordingly.In either case, the manufacturer includes the tax amount in their “price to dealers or retailers” and the retailer charges it from the consumer.

    Make it 5 dollars a pack for all I care. It is win – win. For those who are too addicted to quit, and can afford it, the money will go to offset the damage smoking does to the public good. For those who cannot afford it, it may force them to quit and that means they will cost the public health system less in the long run.

    I don’t smoke but where I work Marlboros are $4.99 plus tax. Basics are $4.40 plus tax. Monarch’s are $4.14 plus tax. USA Gold and Sonoma’s are $3.99 plus tax. Camels and Kools are $5.04 plus tax. Newport’s are $5.79 plus tax and Virginia Slims are $5.69 plus tax. Non filters like Camels and Pall Malls are over $6 plus tax.

    My dad gave me $10 to buy him a pack of Marlboro’s, last night and I thought $10 was absurd… He better quit or get a higher paying job! I need to go to college too you know, and its polluting, ppl ought to quit =P
