When Ships All arrived, I opened it and was impressed with the solid packaging which insured Ships All did not arrive damaged in any way, shape, or form.

Overall, my experience was amazing. I hope this helps you make a solid buying decision for Ships All.

why are all these people falling off of cruise ships ?
I dont know if its just me but it seems like every time i Ships All turn around now i read about someone falling off of a cruise ship. it all just seems a little odd to me. anyone know why ?makes me a little uneasy now to go on my first cruise this summer to bermuda. on the norwegian dawn.

I don’t think you were paying close enough attention. We have been escorting cruise ships for over seven years… Sometimes we use cutters, sometimes small-boats, sometimes either plus air assets, sometimes we are augmented and assisted by local law enforcement marine units, and sometimes we have Coast Guard personnel on board the vessels.I say this having worked maritime security and domestic anti-terrorism for over 15 years… and I’ve worked out of Canaveral, Miami and Mobile as well as several other ports. We don’t have to make a huge scene – sometimes we are lurking in the background. The goal is to keep the bad guys guessing as to what we may do next time… and have them decide that it’s too much work so they look for a different target.

Yes, shipping makes up about 5% of global CO2 emissions, a similar amount to the airline industry, however shipping does carry 95% of world cargo. Thus if you have to purchase foreign produce, one that is shipped is better than produce sent by air. However it is extremely difficult to calculate what is best, for example an article I read in the last 6 months compared transporting similar amounts of cargo from London to Manchester by road produces more emissions than transporting the same amount of cargo from London by sea to somewhere in China, I have trawled the internet, but can not seem to find a link to the article.I think we need more information on products to make informed choices about what we purchase such as the carbon labels added in the UK, so that we can easily compare products.http://howtosaveenergy.blogspot.com/2007/07/carbon-labelling.htmlEnergy Saverhttp://howtosaveenergy.blogspot.com

Every cruise I have been on has an art auction. Most run by the same company, Park West. The only exception is Princess which runs its own art auction. Without the middle man I am sure you get better prices and service.₪ ɦəlʞɹɐq ₪

They were probably all sold off overseas, or turned to scrap at a guess.

No, that would be a security leak. If the ship is out to sea, you check into TPU. They will be able to find out where the ship is, when it will be back, andif they need to send you somewhere to meet the ship or not. It you are to wait, they will find work for you (you don’t get free housing in the Navy, you do have to at least work for it).

These were known as barrage balloons. Their intended purpose was to force enemy aircraft to stay at an altitude where bombing would be less accurate. These balloons had been used earlier in the war to protect cities and factories. The balloons were equipped to deploy parachutes that increased the drag on an aircraft beyond that which its engines could keep aloft; others had explosive charges attached to the cables that would destroy an aircraft that contacted the cable. These barrage balloons were even more effective protecting an invasion fleet, since it is very difficult to hit a moving ship with a gravity bomb dropped from high altitude. Dive bombers and low altitude horizontal bombers were about the only effective air threat at that time. Between these balloons, anti-aircraft guns and fighter aircraft patrolling at higher altitudes, the Allied invasion fleet faced little threat from the air.

The “Bermuda Triangle” or “Devil’s Triangle” is an imaginary area located off the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States of America, which is noted for a supposedly high incidence of unexplained disappearances of ships and aircraft. A significant factor with regard to missing vessels in the Bermuda Triangle is a strong ocean current called the Gulf Stream. It is extremely swift and turbulent and can quickly erase evidence of a disaster. The weather also plays its role. Prior to the development of telegraph, radio and radar, sailors did not know a storm or hurricane was nearby until it appeared on the horizon.Triangle writers have used a number of supernatural theories to explain the events. One explanation pins the blame on leftover technology from the lost continent of Atlantis. Myth has it that a magnetic crystal of the sunken city of Atlantis cause air crafts, submarines or boats that travel through this invisible triangle to get lost or simply vanish.

It’s a very old tradition. It certainly created great respect. Some thought it was due to the fact in the days when a voyage could last 5 months or more. without site of land the ship was, life, hope and promise.Wouldn’t she represent a woman. What else has such significance for a man. Good or Bad, this girl is what ya got!Nother thought, a sailor loved his ship.
