Go for skate stickers, or surf stickers if you like that tooo. You can get free Lush stickers from the website. Maybe make a short list of your fave skate brands, or whatever, and check the websites. Most of them sell stickers for cheep because they’re promotional of their products so they should be relatively easy to get. Also some skate companys like Vans put stickers in the box when you buy shoes, so double whammy there 
Hope the sticker search goes good and your board looks IMENSE 
Use a product called Goof Off, it will disolve the glue. Be sure to test it first, it may result in a slightly lighter area on the card where the sitcker was.
You can soak it thoroughly with water, then scrub at it with a green scratchy pad for cleaning dishes. It will eventually come off with a lot of scrubbing. If you don’t want to go to all the work, buy “Goo Gone” in the cleaning aisle of most stores. It works like magic and has a nice citrusy smell. I know you wanted a regular household item, though. So…elbow grease?
remove the stickers….a piece value is determined by the manufacture and quality ….every manuf. has its own calling card to id their prod. by design or look …. take for instance all of those appraisal shows you see on TV …. there were no stickers back then …. but yet they can tell you who made it … when … and where …. .. but if your sticker is on the bottom with id code…leave it alone
WD40 to loosen. Windex cleaner to clean.
I would try either Goof-Off or WD40. Both work great. Just be careful around painted surfaces. If your still finding them stuck use the WD40 with a ‘magic’ eraser. Good luck!
put the stickers on, and put a coat of polyurthene on the entire holder, and that will be that, happy ending

Don’t put stickers on the bottom of your board. As for the rest of the board:Funny stickers, political stickers, animals, designs, whatever, are all cool. Just don’t put stickers of snowboard brands on your board. Putting stickers on your board that say “Burton” and “Forum” and “DC” is lame unless you are sponsored by them. It makes you look like a poser.
You might try testing whatever coating you plan to use on a very small spot on each sticker – some coatings have solvent in them that could attack the printing or even the base of the sticker. The safest thing to do would be to have a glass or plastic cover cut to fit the table top. Either should have the edges finished or otherwise covered to avoid cuts.
Nail polish remover works.When I buy cds & dvds & such and it has those annoying price stickers on, I peel them off then use nail polish remover to get the sticky part off.I know, it sounds insane but it works.And after that just wipe the area down with a wet cloth so it dosen’t smell.

Peel the sticker off as best you can. Then use a piece of tape, packing tape, scotch, whatever you’ve got handy. Rub the tape onto the goo, then peel off the tape. The goo will stick to the tape.
