   Why not make a poster with the things you have, and a poster board. All of you can help make it and show her how much you guys love her. This is something she can hang on her wall and cherish for years to come.

   1. Google scrapbook sketches. It will give you a lot of layout ideas.2. Color blocking. Large areas of color, arranged pleasingly as a background.3. Use better paper. Construction paper degrades and fades very quickly.4. Invest in a few sheets of patterned paper or a scrapbook page kit. They even have them at walmart now, and a little zip with patterns adds SOOOO much variety. A little goes a long way too, so you really don’t need a lot. ( I did an entire 24 page, 8 1/2 x 11 travel album with one 6 page page kit and solid papers.)5. Google ‘free scrapbook classes’ for a basics class in page layout and design. It will be time well invested.6. Have a GOOD time with it. If it becomes a burden, you won’t want to finish it.

   Once the seedlings emerge, it’s best to pull them before they form the heads and then place them in the trash. The seeds from “Goat heads” or “Puncture vines” are viable up to 20 years in the soil. There are several ways to prevent them from becoming a problem in your yard;1) Pre-emergent herbicides containing oryzalin or trifluralin applied in spring (April 1) will kill seedlings as they germinate during summer. You can probably find these chemicals at one of your local hardware stores.2) In some areas, people are using propane torch burners to burn/destroy the seedlings AND the seedheads. However, this may not be the safest way to control them unless you have permission from your local fire department in advance. 3) There are currently some seed-feeding weevils (Microlarinus lareynii) and crown-feeding weevils (Microlarinus lypriformis) that can be purchased over the internet. Although they’re somewhat expensive (~$75/container of 250 weevils which treats one acre) they are very effective in controlling this horrible weed. Hope this information was of some help.    I’ve never used iron on paper stickers. I’m pretty sure you aren’t supposed to iron those onto paper. I know you usually do that if you are ironing them onto cloth (shirt, apron, etc).http://desktoppub.about.com/od/transfers/l/aa_transfers.htm

   PALIN STICKERS MAKE ME HAPPY. Sarah Palin bumper stickers make me happy because if she runs as any part of the republican ticket …VP or president… you can bet that President Obama will not have to take time or energy to campaign to win. The 28% of the voters who are fox worshiping, red state, rednecks are still only 28% of the votes.You can’t win with only 28%No matter how fervently they want someone who reminds them of their own backwards styles of feeling, acting and thinking they are still only 28% of the votes!PALIN STICKERS MAKE ME SAD …It saddens me that our education system has failed in promoting critical thinking skills in over a fourth of the population. It make me sad that 28% of the population is mired on fear, anger, hatred and ignorance as their driving motivations.    Have them come dressed as their favorite Glee character and give an award to the best costume. Maybe have them perform a Glee song or make up a Glee number and give an award to the best performance. For goodie bags, you could also have little toy dolphins (because Brittany thought dolphins were gay sharks), small packages of Goldfish crackers (for Finn), and a little whistle (for Ken and Sue.)

    I think you can do it at anytime. It’ll actually cost less as you decrease the amount of months that you have to pay for. Having said that, you can’t drive without a sticker, if you get caught you’ll pay a fine.
