In case you wanted to know how to pronounce all of these, I put the prononciation underneath – split into syllables + capitol letters are emphasized)The Russian language and culture have a very unique way of saying “Happy Easter”! On the actual day, which is tomorrow, Russian people greet each other in this particular way:”Христос воскрес!” (Christ has risen!)[hree-stOs] [vo-skrEs]to which the other person (people) reply “Воистину воскрес!” (Indeed, he has risen!) [voEE-steenoo] [vo-skrEs] As a side note: this is done by people of Christian Orthodox religion. And since most Russian people are Christian Orthodox, this is pretty common. The phrase above is used only on the actual day of Easter. If you have to greet someone before or after the actual day, or if the person is an atheist or of some very different religion this is what you can say:”С Пасхой!” (Happy Easter!) [s] [pAs-hoy] “С Пасхой тебя!” (Happy Easter to you, infomal)[s] [pAs-hoy] [te-bYA]“С Пасхой вас!” (Happy Easter to you, formal)[s] [pAs-hoy] [vuhs] (the uh sound)”Поздравляю тебя с Пасхой!” (Wish you a happy Easter, informal)[poz-druhv-LYAu] [te-bYA] [s] [pAs-hoy]“Поздравляю вас с Пасхой!” (Wish you a happy Easter, formal)[poz-druhv-LYAu] [vuhs] [s] [pAs-hoy]Hope this helps and поздравляю вас с Пасхой! :D

Easter is set by the first full moon after the vernal equinox. This is the one day in the year when day and night are roughly equal! It varies by more than a month over the years and so it simply cannot represent the date of anyone’s death!!!It is in fact a combination of several pagan festivals most notably the spring festival. The name Easter comes from “Eastre” an Anglo-Saxon pagan goddess. Even the Chinese have the festival of Ching Ming where flowers and sweets are put on their ancestors graves!!The egg and the rabbit are symbols of springtime and rebirth!Fun to watch the Christians worshiping a pagan festival though – makes it just like Christmas when they do the same thing!!!

Once when I lived in a dorm, my friend and I colored a bunch of hard boiled eggs and put one in the door jam of every room in the dorm. We had a lot of fun and hearing the chatter of people wondering who did it was neat. You could do that for the people in your office or whatever.

is it already cooked and you just heat it through??if not..depends on how big your ham is.to baste…put some pineapple juice into a bowl, add some brown sugar, combine till it makes a glaze, keep basting the ham while cooking ..you can also add rings of pineapple around the ham using toothpicks to hold in place*

That would mean actually putting their minds in gear before they speak. I would say that waitresses and cashiers have been told to do so by their managers. Some people assume this is a “Christian Nation”; it is a nation with Christians and it just doesn’t occur to some people that not everyone they meet is a Christian. They aren’t trying to insult you; just consider it another form of “Have a nice day!” and ignore them. (One of my friends answered a cashier’s brainless “have a nice day” with “Don’t tell me what to do!”)

in Chinese, you should write and say: 復活節快樂 [复活节快乐] (fùhuójié kuàilè)

lmao lol lmao omg poor bunny, absolutely not ! we use non-bunny ingredients (^_^)Ingredients:2 1/2 cup coconut shredded1/2 cup egg whites8 oz chocolate semisweet1/2 cup sugar brown1 tsp vanilla1/2 cup pecans finely choppedHow to make chocolate easter bunny tail:take a large bowl and beat egg whites into it until frothy. gradually stir in these ingredients coconut, sugar, pecans, and vanilla. then apply some oil to wet your hands and shape mixture into small eggs. grease a baking pan and place these eggs on the greased pan. now bake these eggs at 325 f for 10-12 minutes. you will see soon it becomes light brown. then loosen with spatula immediately. keep them aside in order to cool it completely. for melting the chocolate you can use either microwave or double boiler. then allow it to cool slightly. after cooling slightly the paste is ready for dipping the eggs into it. so dip them one by one into this paste with the help of a fork, spoon or toothpick. if required you can reheat chocolate in case it cools too much before you finish. once coating has set, you should store the eggs in refrigerator
