If you are looking for Vintage Christmas then you are in the right place. Check out this review:

In this review of Vintage Christmas, I’m going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what’s a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that Vintage Christmas is my favorite choice. Sure, there’s other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). I do have to say this though. some other products may be better, but based on quality and price, Vintage Christmas is the clear winner.

Copyrights expire 70 years after the creator’s death. So vintage patterns and art are becoming public domain. Once the person takes those images and puts them to cd you have to respect the copyrights for that CD which includes not selling items made using the CD. Sometimes if you politely write to the maker of the CD you can be granted permission. As far as getting vintage images you just have to start searching old people’s attics and then you have to research the copyright. Which is frankly, a lot of work.

I haven’t seen any like this lately, but I have seen people using regular tree ornaments and crocheting netting around them.

Well, the tree isn’t going to have the smell of pine, so the smell of the outdoors won’t attract them. The reflection of the aluminum tree itself isn’t as tempting as the long tinsel hanging from a tree either. The shiny objects on the tree might attract them, but I don’t think you’d be taking any more chances than you would with a pine Christmas tree. If you are worried, you might want to do as I did one Christmas and tie it to a stairwell or something else sturdy. If you use fishing line it won’t show. (And put unbreakable bulbs on the bottom of the tree.)BTW I love the idea of the retro tree.

You really need to take them to a professional appraiser. Phone a local comic books dealer to ask about appraisers in your area.

Maybe but together a small gift basket. But instead of a basket, use something vintage to put the stuff in like a very small trunk and go to like an old used book store and put a book in there along with a record and maybe a necklace. If you have the money, maybe a shirt as well. And to decorate the trunk, maybe cover it in old newspaper clippings, like a paper mache? Hope I helped (:

The collectibles market depends largely on condition followed by uniqueness. You should see whether you can get them out cleanly. You should list (or otherwise group) them by topic or historic site and look up examples on the internet from other dealers. You may wish to sell/offer some of your less attractive examples first in order to see if they will sell (if you are offering a fixed price) or what they get at auction. As I recall, when I was looking for specific images and they were found on post cards, people sometimes offered single and sometimes small batches/lots

it depends on what era she likes, what she needs, etc. you could try going to thrift stores. there are probably a million online sources of vintage “stuff” if you can think of a specific item , try ebay. in your price range, wall art might be a good start for your search. framed prints, or advertising art are fun and add to a room’s “look”. good luck!here’s a site, not for shopping, but for looking at all sorts of retro stuff…http://www.bitlounge.net/retrolounge/fashion.htm

I found something quite similiar to what you described on ebay. Click on the link and see if this is close enough for you. Hope so…(((hugs)))
