I suspect what you’re describing is Clear Laminating Plastic Sheets. There are two kinds, the kind for laminating objects like ID Cards – which requires a heating appliance. Then there is the self adhesive kind that scrapbook collectors use in place of covering their oddbits with ordinary clear plastic cover sheets. You can find Self Adhesive Laminating Plastic in Most Good Stationary stores, or in Graphic Arts supply stores. One brand is simply called “Clear Seal” which comes in packets of 4 sheets in 4″x6″ or 9″x13″.Good luck sweetie, take care!!
I always string my things like that on book binding rings. I put all the packages of crystals together on one ring, the pakages of chipboard on another etc. They are very easy to flip through when you go to a crop that way. It has saved me from buying more packets of the same stickers/crystals as i can easily see what I have already got.I also link all the book binding rings of different embellishments together so I can pick the whole lot up at once. No more scrabbling things together! Then I have a clear plastic bin that I ‘file’ my rub ons in when I go away. The bin has a top insert layer so I put my punches in the bottom of the bin and the rub ons in the top layer. Ribbon fits in well also.HTH!
I have a ton of stickers! Last year when I went to the Pleasanton Scrapbook Expo I saw the “Scrap Rack” organizational system and thought it could work for me so I bought it. I have to tell you that I LOVE it! It does not take up much room, it’s expandable and it comes with a binder so you can take what you need where ever yo are going. I highly recommend it. Not too expensive either.
One method I use it to find a long table and lay the backgrounds out along the edges. I then start placing photos and embellishments on the backgrounds, leaving them loose. I can see what the whole scrapbook will look like this way and can keep changing things till I am happy with the overall effect. Then I carefully stack everything together in order, and then I start making each page. There are lots of sites you can go to for scrapbook layout ideas. Page Maps is good:http://www.pagemaps.com/You can pick a couple of layouts that you like and then do variations of them for each page. You can make a mirror image of your favourite layout. or turn it around a quarter of a page, or turn the sketch upside down and use it that way. Then your scrapbook will have a very coordinated look about it.I hope this helps you get started!
Try some of these sticker website, it may try a bit of hunting, but they have a nice selection:http://www.simplystickers.com/http://www.stickersgalore.com/http://www.stickerplanet.com/
You should try visiting:www.joann.comShe has an entire scrapbooking section. She’s great. Has nearly everything!
While Walmart does have kits I think that JoAnn fabrics has a wider selection of kits. Google JoAnn Fabrics and then do find a store location. Look at the locations reasonably close to you and go to the biggest one… some don’t really have much int he way of scrap booking while others have tons.If not get a cute little basket and assemble all the thinks you think are important and just coordinate them for her.Great gift idea too!
HEY! Just as I posted the answer this link showed next to it: http://www.scrapdango.com/ The first page has some kits you might like.
I know an online printing company for custom printing of stickers, they provide free graphic designing and shipping all around as well as they are cheap in the market with high quality products.

How about using a digital camera to take pics of all your friends, print them, and cut them up to make magnets of each of them.
I have done this . You take a piece of heavy paper. Cut it into a strip about and inch long and an inch wide. Take the paper and fold it so that it makes something like a slinky. The paper has to be very stiff to hold the weight of the sticker. Glue to the back of the sticker and to the paper. You may have to trim the paper to fit the back of the sticker so it does not show. The effect is like having a little spring on the sticker it will bounce (like they sometimes havelittle springs on store bought cards to make something on the card like a bug bounce). Also you can take pieces of flat foam and glue to the back of the sticker to make it raised from the paper.
So it’s just a vellum embellishment. You can buy glue just made for vellum or use brads ( like holes punched near all four corners if item is square/rectangular) to attach it to the page or card you are making. ( I don’t like the glues adhesives for vellum – seems like they always show through…. Do you have a local scrapbook store you can go ask at? Good to see options in person.
I think you are looking for rhinestones. Here’s an example of them:http://www.scrapncraftwitht.com.au/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=40_42&zenid=6da3k4mf125p7kf40sv2ic7k41
I am assuming you are referring to rub on transfers. If so, all you need to do is cut around the image you want to use. Make sure you leave a little border around it. Then place the image down on the item you want the sticker on, and rub the entire image with a popsicle stick or a side of a spoon. Rub with some pressure, and rub it entirely. Start at one end and gently pull the clear paper off. Make sure the image is staying down. If not, rub the entire image again and repeat until it is all removed from the backing paper.
this is easy to show you than to try to explain. But basically you just put the transfer down where you want it and rub the stick hard over and it should transfer over. Hope this helps. Happy scrapping!
