How about trying to make them yourself ? You can personalize & customize to your liking And gift them to your friends as well. And besides bookmarks, you could make a whole range of cards & paintings too :-) Here’s one recipe :watercolor paints craft glue fruit flavor jello paper paintbrush What You Do : Draw a picture . You could use trace a picture from a coloring book. paint it with watercolors. Let it dry. After your picture is dry spread craft glue a little at a time over the colored parts of your picture. Sprinkle fruit flavored jello over the wet glue. Let your picture dry. The craft glue dries clear and you will be left with a sweet smelling picture. This link has Three techniques/recipes for the same :http://www.ehow.com/how_2208518_paint-scratch-n-sniff-rainbow.htmlAnd this is what Google threw up in my search :http://www.google.co.in/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=how+to+make+scratch+and+sniff+cards&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8Hope this inspiresAll the very best & have fun :-)

I vote regardless: in rain, hail, sleet or snow. Whatever. So the stickers mean nothing to me.I would hope they smell like lavender or roses, nice flowers; even soap or coffee would be good.

Before exploring the technology behind scratch-and-sniff paper, we must first examine the very nature of smelling itself. In order to smell something, actual molecules must travel through the air and into your nose. This is kind of unnerving, when you think about it. Scratch-and-sniff paper, truly a wonder of the modern age, works because of something called microencapsulation technology. This process takes these tiny aroma-generating molecules, known as odorants, and suspends them inside millions of tiny capsules. These little capsules really are tiny — one square inch of scratch-and-sniff paper contains approximately 50 million of them. They’re created by a patented process owned by the 3M Company. So how does it work exactly? Basically, a perfume is emulsified, or whipped, into a plastic liquid. This breaks up the perfume (which can smell like anything — strawberries, root beer, old shoes, you name it) into billions of tiny odorants suspended in plastic. The plastic is then sprayed onto paper and dried. When you scratch the dried plastic, the odorants are released, and voila — eau de old shoe!

Yup. I think you should keep in a plastic baggie. They will be attracted to the smell and maybe eat the stickers. Which could cause a disgusting infestation. Yuck!

April is my birthday month. Is sweat and beer an acceptable combination for this type of calendar?
